I’ve always been a notoriously slow reader. But ten months for one book is definitely a record. In my defense, the 2011 book Thinking Fast and Slow is a grand synthesis of Daniel Kahneman’s vast body of work—with collaborators—in behavioral psychology. It is necessarily dense but wildly interesting, which kept me reading at a very, very slow pace.
